I’m Noah Tomas!
Currently, I’m at Valdosta State University for my Bachelor’s Degree in trumpet performance! I’ve been playing since middle school. Through my experience, I’ve gotten to learn how beautiful and enriching music can be. My goal now is to share that wonder with others.
I’ve played marching, jazz, symphonic, classical, and musical productions, and can’t wait to try something new. I was fortunate to be in a couple of specific ensembles, the Hernando Youth Orchestra, my highschool(Weeki Wachee) band, The College of Central Florida bands, the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, the Valdosta State University Bands, the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, and the Presidential Brass Quintet in Valdosta. I always try to find opportunities to perform, and am always open to anyone who may need a trumpet player.
I have also spent time in the teacher role! Currently my main experience comes from volunteering at my highschool during their marching band season. My areas of expertise are music fundamentals, brass technique, intermediate music theory, and general classical music pedagogy! I can assist students all the way from the first time they pick up the horn, to University auditions!
